It is a beautiful blessing when the Holy Spirit brings to remembrance the moments in your life when He has been with you. Even memories from childhood—times of struggle, loneliness, or moments when you didn’t yet know Him—become clear. Through it all, Jesus was always there, guiding you, holding you, and leading you toward Him.
So often, we go through life unaware of how God has been working behind the scenes. We focus on our struggles, disappointments, and unanswered questions, forgetting that He has never left us. But in His perfect time, the Lord opens our eyes, allowing us to look back and see His hand in every season—His protection, His provision, and His presence, even when we didn’t recognize it.
A few weeks ago, during The Glory Zone, we experienced this in a powerful way. The Lord began bringing back memories—both joyful and painful—revealing His constant presence and divine justice in our lives. As He did, healing flowed, and many began to see how God has worked in their lives in ways they had never realized before. Some saw how He carried them through the hardest moments, while others were reminded of prayers answered long ago.
The testimonies shared that day were raw and deeply moving. People opened their hearts about growing up without a father, living in poverty, struggling with jealousy, being mocked, experiencing abuse, and enduring painful relationships. But as the Holy Spirit moved, He brought healing. What once caused shame, pain, and heartache became a testimony of God's faithfulness.
There was no plan, no agenda—just the Holy Spirit leading the way. Revelation filled the room as people recognized God’s hand in their journey—whether He had already set them free or was still leading them toward healing.
This is the power of remembrance. When God brings something back to our minds, it’s never to hurt us—it’s to heal us, strengthen us, and remind us of who He is. He shows us that nothing is wasted, that He restores what was broken, and that He turns our pain into purpose.
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.” – John 14:26
As you reflect on your own journey, ask the Holy Spirit to bring to remembrance the moments He carried you, even when you didn’t realize it. Let Him show you how He has been shaping your journey, turning every challenge into a testimony of His faithfulness. Because through it all, He has never left you—and He never will.
