Apostle Dorothy J. Ross is a gifted, anointed, spirit-filled speaker, vocalist, lyricist, teacher and artist. Dorothy has been active in ministry since 1981. As a faithful steward of the mysteries of God and a minister of Christ, Dorothy glorifies the Lord in all things.
Dorothy’s message is one of healing. Under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, she ministers deliverance to people who are oppressed and in bondage. Her own testimony reveals how the Lord freed her from heavy oppression of the mind and soul. She now has a burden for others who are experiencing the same trials. Luke 4:18 appropriately describes her calling:
“The spirit of the Lord is upon me because He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor: He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovering sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”
Dorothy has made many guest appearances on Christian radio and television in the Chicago area. Her credits include:

- Co-host “Power from on High” on TV channel 66

Dorothy is president and founder of “W.I.N.N.E.R.S.”, Women in Need, Now Enjoying the Riches of Salvation. This ministry was established in January of 2002 after the Lord gave her a vision for all women to be free from bondage on every level - mental, physical, emotional, financial, and spiritual. Romans 8:37 is the inspiration: “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.” In her seminars and counseling as well as through preaching and exhorting, Dorothy is teaching self-deliverance and healing with miraculous results. She also trains and develops others in preparation for ministry.

Artist
Art from the Glory Zone by Dorothy J. Ross is a body of work produced in a variety of mediums. Dorothy is an abstract impressionist who is extremely diverse in her choice of materials. Her pieces range from color pencil renderings to black and white sketches to paintings using watercolors and acrylics in dynamic and unconventional techniques. Dorothy also incorporates fabrics, leather, glass, and stone in her work.
Dorothy approaches her art in a way that endears her to others. People relate to her art because she shares her heart, pain and experiences. Her work is filled with her passion and spirituality. Her love for the Lord is apparent in every piece she creates. “I believe that art should touch, inspire, provoke, and even move the viewer in some way.” Dorothy continues, “Art has a voice. It can minister to us if we let it.” Dorothy believes that we honor our Creator (the giver of all talents) by developing our talents to give and share them with the world no matter how insignificant they appear to be to us.
In the year 2000 Dorothy received her first prophetic work called “Out from the Earth,” which became a series of pictures relating a message of deliverance and restoration in bringing women, men, marriages, relationships and dreams that have been trampled and buried out from the earth (grave). Since then her work has expanded to include a large collection of multi-dimensional abstracts produced on tile, marble, and slate. Each piece is highly anointed and speaks to the viewer.
